{"id":2955,"date":"2025-04-24T10:20:00","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T08:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hydrotechnologymotors.de\/htm-on-a-delegation-trip-to-japan-building-bridges-for-international-hydrogen-cooperation-%f0%9f%8c%8d%e2%9c%88%ef%b8%8f%f0%9f%97%be\/"},"modified":"2025-07-22T13:08:12","modified_gmt":"2025-07-22T11:08:12","slug":"htm-on-a-delegation-trip-to-japan-building-bridges-for-international-hydrogen-cooperation-%f0%9f%8c%8d%e2%9c%88%ef%b8%8f%f0%9f%97%be","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hydrotechnologymotors.de\/en\/htm-on-a-delegation-trip-to-japan-building-bridges-for-international-hydrogen-cooperation-%f0%9f%8c%8d%e2%9c%88%ef%b8%8f%f0%9f%97%be\/","title":{"rendered":"HTM on a delegation trip to Japan &#8211; building bridges for international hydrogen cooperation \ud83c\udf0d\u2708\ufe0f\ud83d\uddfe"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are back from an inspiring business delegation trip to Japan, organised by the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture and led by Minister of Economic Affairs Daniela Schmitt.<\/p>\n\n<p>Our stations: Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya &#8211; impressively connected by travelling on the Shinkansen, a symbol of Japanese efficiency and progress.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83e\udd1d Networks, insights and collaborations<\/h3>\n\n<p>The programme offered numerous highlights &#8211; including<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A visit to the German Embassy in Tokyo<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An exclusive networking dinner with high-ranking representatives from politics and business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>But the real highlight of this trip was the opportunity to hold targeted co-operation talks with Japan&#8217;s largest airlines and airport operators thanks to the great support of the AHK Japan (German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Japan).<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd0b Japan focusses on hydrogen in the airport sector<\/h3>\n\n<p>What we have learnt: Japan is pursuing a remarkably pragmatic hydrogen strategy &#8211; especially in the aviation sector. The expansion of the infrastructure around hydrogen refuelling stations and H2-powered airport vehicles is progressing rapidly. Our discussions have impressively confirmed the high potential for HTM baggage tug retrofit solutions and other HTM hydrogen applications in airport operations.&#13;\n&#13;\n\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf31 Global partnerships for sustainable mobility<\/h3>\n\n<p>In addition to new strategic contacts, we were also able to strengthen existing local partnerships.
